Manufacturing Process

Thorough Quality & Safety Control System

Choigang Food Co., Ltd’s quality and safety control system, is equipped with the latest roasting and sealing facilities, maintains the optimal Manufacturing hygiene with the constant-temperature/constant-moisture facilities and produces products operating metal detectors and foreign-substance filters. Furthermore, Choigang Food Co.,Ltd has been certified by HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point)

1. Feeder

Select the high quality raw dried laver from the clean waters on the West Coast of South Korea and place them into the foreign-substance filter

2. Foreign-Substance Filter

Separate harmful foreign substances from the raw dried laver and let the raw dried laver go through the 1st roasting.

3. 1st Roasting

Conduct the first preliminary roasting at a low temperature to transform the raw dried laver so that it can be suitable for seasoning.

4. Mixing & Seasoning

Properly mix with safety-verified local and imported sesame oil, canola oil, salt and powder.

5. 2nd Roasting

Roast the preliminarily roasted and seasoned laver for the second time to produce crispy and savory seasoned laver.

6. Counter

By using an automatic counter, group the laver with the correct counts by use.

7. Metal Detector

Security is assured by using the metal detector for products complete with inner packaging.

8. 1st Packaging

Package the products verified for safety after passing the metal detector in a way to store them for a long time without change.

9. ROBOT ARM (Tay robot)

Accurate and fast grouping into small quantities using an automated machine

10. 2nd Packaging

Conduct the 2nd packaging of the products that pass all safety and verification processes in corrugated cardboard boxes for easy delivery and management.
